I studied illustration at Liverpool Polytechnic followed by a stint at Central Saint Martins which saw me graduate with an MA in Communication Design. I am now living (with my husband and one child – Matilda) and working as an illustrator in North Devon. I work sitting at a little desk, looking out to sea, surrounded by various bits and bobs collected over the years: snowstorms, toys – plastic, tin, glittery, shiny, old and new – whatever I can get my hands on really. In return they have had a big and good influence over my work. And when I’m stuck, I get outside and run along the coastal paths to shake my brain around.
